Colour Blocking in Three Easy Steps

You can wear head to toe colour in a few simple steps and just to be clear, NO I don't mean Black.

Pick a Tone and Stick With It

So of course the hue is the most important thing when it comes to wearing head to toe colour. So first things first, pick one and stick with it. Then allow yourself some room to move up and down the colour wheel by at least three soft tones. As you can see with me I've gone for more of a darker grey on the bottom while the soft hue rests on my top half. P.S you can get both these items from Marks and Spencer.

Learn to Mix Fabrics

If you're feeling your look is too one dimensional go for mixing fabrics together. That little something extra will elevate your look and make it more fashion forward without trying to hard. Add something like bright red cashmere with leather skirts, or turtle necks layered under purple trouser suit.

Ease Up On The Accessories

With this sort of heavy trend I'd recommend going easy on your accessories. Something to crazy will add bulk to your frame and complicate the overall look. As you can see I've teamed this all grey ensemble with black boots and tights, this complimenting colour way is another way to show attention to the hero items of this look.
